A LITTLE ABOUT ME
During my younger years, my plan of action never involved sciences.
I had a natural flare for cooking and was the only career I wanted to pursue.
In the 90's there wasn't much opportunity that I was aware of and so I did what I knew best at the time, follow the leader.
My brother had qualified as a pharmacist in 1999 and was the one we all knew would do well in life, and he certainly has. Practicing for the last 19 years, he has developed an admirable work ethic and helped many aspiring pharmacists to reach their potential
I qualified as pharmacist in 2012 and not one to stay in the same place, I became a locum pharmacist. Travelling, meeting new people, learning, innovating approaches fascinated me and couldn't have be done otherwise.
6 years of practice and almost one hundred and sixty thousand miles later, it surely has been eventful. Much has been learnt in both pharmacy-based knowledge, developing people skills and meeting some of the most talented people to date. Not to mention some exceptional members of the public which to some degree have taught me a great deal about life values.
The friends I have made along the way couldn't be less than a blessing. Offering each and every patient the best of me couldn't be more rewarding. Listening in awe to stories of the older generation couldn't be less than mesmerising.
Most of all, I met my life partner whilst studying pharmacy. 14 years later and two beautiful children, I believe this was the path I was meant to walk. Would I change my route if I could turn back time? Definitely not!
I'd walk the same steps and go through the same struggles, cry the same tears and hold strong through the tough times. Cherish the good moments and above all, treasure the great people I have met along the way.
You live to realise it's not what you accumulate that dictate how successful you are but the humble gratitude you experience along your journey. Opportunity is the gateway of realising your dreams, do not miss it!
Building locumhive has truly been an experience and a lot has been learnt during its journey. Licencing rules, laws, trademarks and mentoring have been eye opening and challenging.
